Wyatt had lost ten straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-20 to make it 11. They came up short against the Trimble Tech Bulldogs, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.
As for Trimble Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games.
For Trimble Tech's part, Wyatt's batters probably weren't too happy with Mario Reyna, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up a single walk). Reyna has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Nick Martinez was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Trimble Tech's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 10-1-1 (and 6-9-1 when he doesn't). Steven Ayala was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
