Hebron and Plano East squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hebron had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Panthers. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Hebron started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Hebron saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoe Miller had 18 digs and four assists.

Plano East's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dakota Huynh, who had 22 digs and two assists. Huynh has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Tucker, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 26-12. As for Plano East, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-10.

Hebron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plano East, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lake Highlands on the 4th.
