Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Bolingbrook

There's no place like home for Bolingbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plainfield South Cougars on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since April 26th.

Bolingbrook had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Bolingbrook's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominik Pietruszewski led the charge by getting eight digs and one assist. Those eight digs gave Pietruszewski a new career-high.
