Volleyball Recap: Ballard Takes a Loss

Ballard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Xavier Tigers.

Dalton Lutes had an outrageously good game for St. Xavier as he had 12 digs and six aces. What's more, Lutes posted three assists, the most he's had over his last nine contests. Another player making a difference was Isaac Kaufman, who had 21 assists.

Ballard's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Xavier, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

Ballard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Xavier, they will host Holy Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
