Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Crystal City Hornets. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-19.
Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Crystal City, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Grandview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Cuba on the 10th. Crystal City has also already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Kingston on the 12th.
