Basketball Recap: West Victorious

West never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Seaman on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 win over the Seaman Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since February 13, 2024.

West's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Seaman, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

West will welcome Turner on Friday. As for Seaman, they will head out on the road to take on Leavenworth at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Seaman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Leavenworth likes a good challenge.
