Recap: Whitehouse Wildcats vs. Tyler Legacy Raiders
The Whitehouse Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 69-46 walloping at the hands of Tyler Legacy. Whitehouse has struggled against Tyler Legacy recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Tyler Legacy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Jones, who scored 22 points along with 4 steals. Jones continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ja'corian Oes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Whitehouse has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Tyler Legacy, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 7-4 record.
Whitehouse is on the road again on Thursday and play against Hudson at 8:45 a.m. on December 7th. Hudson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Whitehouse in Texas (Hudson is ranked 116th, while Whitehouse is ranked 784th). As for Tyler Legacy, they will take on Lovejoy at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Lovejoy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
