Volleyball Recap: Citrus Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Citrus Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Beaumont Cougars. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 2, 2023, but that streak is no more.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Citrus Valley lost, don't look at Sophia Swogger. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and six assists. Swogger has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 25 times she's played.

Citrus Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Beaumont, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.
