Volleyball Game Preview: North Sanpete Hawks vs. Spanish Fork Dons

The North Sanpete Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Spanish Fork Dons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Spanish Fork took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on North Sanpete, who comes in off a win.

North Sanpete took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Juab by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

North Sanpete's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Bradley Strange, who had 12 digs and two aces, and Cole Booher, who had 15 kills, 14 digs, and four aces. That's the most aces Strange has posted over his last four games.

They weren't the only good server: North Sanpete was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are a perfect 9-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Spanish Fork came up short against Springville on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20.

Spanish Fork's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for North Sanpete, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
