Softball Recap: Warrensburg Comes Up Short

Warrensburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Argyle Scots, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Burghers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Warrensburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Argyle, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 5-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Warrensburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Granville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Argyle will take on rival Whitehall at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
