Softball Game Preview: Seton Catholic Central Saints vs. Chenango Forks Blue Devils

The Seton Catholic Central Saints will challenge the Chenango Forks Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Seton Catholic Central and five for Chenango Forks dating back to last season.

Seton Catholic Central fell victim to Susquehanna Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Sabers, falling 13-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Saints were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Chenango Forks came up short against Windsor Central on Friday and fell 12-8.

Seton Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Chenango Forks, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Seton Catholic Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Chenango Forks when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 9-8. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
