Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. West Henderson

The Franklin Panthers will challenge the West Henderson Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Franklin will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Monday, then bounced right back against Smoky Mountain on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 4-2 win over the Mustangs. Even though Franklin got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jose Dominguez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Franklin hit Smoky Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Pablo Odilon (2), Kevin Torres, and Cristian Vasquez-Cruz.

Meanwhile, West Henderson kept a clean sheet against North Henderson on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 4-0 victory.

West Henderson's win bumped their record up to 11-8-2. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12-2.
