It's playoff time, and Legacy Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Eunice Cardinals 50-36 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Silverbacks, who have now won 15 matches in a row.

Legacy Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryant Scales out in front who went 5-for-12 to rack up 16 points. The contest was Scales' third in a row with at least 15 points. Dallas Baca was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Legacy Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Eunice, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Legacy Academy will challenge Mesa Vista at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Mesa Vista will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Legacy Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Eunice does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
