Softball Recap: Holland Patent Comes Up Short

Holland Patent came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-1 to the Rome Free Academy Black Knights. The Golden Knights haven't had much luck with the Black Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Holland Patent's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rome Free Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holland Patent will take on rival New Hartford at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th. Meanwhile, Rome Free Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
