Softball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Austin's offense. They came up short against the Silver Creek Dragons on Monday, falling 21-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Silver Creek, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Austin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against South Ripley on the 22nd. As for Silver Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-5 loss against Charlestown on the 22nd.
