Abington Heights extended their winning streak to 26 on Monday, bumping them up to 26-0. They put the hurt on the Dunmore Bucks with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Leading Abington Heights to victory were Brielle Wentz and Bella Carr. Wentz had 20 assists and seven digs, while Carr had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Wentz has posted over her last nine matches.

As for Dunmore, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 4th.

When it comes to explaining why Dunmore lost, don't look at Elena Piepoli. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs.

Abington Heights and Dunmore are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Comets will challenge Greater Nanticoke Area at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunmore, they will square off against Western Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
