Baseball Recap: Mt. Eden Monarchs vs. San Leandro Pirates
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. Eden can now relate to. They lost 11-2 to the San Leandro Pirates on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Javier Alfaro III was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
