Softball Recap: Berlin Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Berlin waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Pardeeville Bulldogs 13-3.

The team relied heavily on Lakelyn Sobieski, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Buckholt, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Berlin hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Berlin's record is now 7-15. As for Pardeeville, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Berlin will host Cedar Grove-Belgium at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.58 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pardeeville, they will take on River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
