Volleyball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Comes Up Short

Tri-Cities Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sullivan East Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

Michaela Dixon paced Tri-Cities Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Dixon got some help from Emma Brown and her 16 assists. Dixon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Tri-Cities Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Sullivan East, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Tri-Cities Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 12th. As for Sullivan East, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Volunteer on the 15th.
