Football Recap: Fleetwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fleetwood played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-7 to the Garden Spot Spartans. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Garden Spot got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Martin out in front who rushed for 140 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 140 rushing yards gave Martin a new career-high. Andrew Pemberton was in the mix too, providing Garden Spot with two TDs.

Fleetwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Garden Spot, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
