Soccer Game Preview: Harlingen vs. Edinburg North

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Harlingen challenge the Edinburg North at 8:00 p.m. on Friday... Harlingen's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for Harlingen after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Edinburg by a score of 2-1.

Harlingen's goal came courtesy of Gael Zuniga, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, on TuesdayMission Veterans Memorial kept up with Edinburg North until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Edinburg North was the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Mission Veterans Memorial.

The victory got Edinburg North back to even at 1-1. As for Harlingen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Harlingen was able to grind out a solid win over Edinburg North in their previous meeting on Thursday, winning 4-2. Does Harlingen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Edinburg North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
