Softball Recap: West Davidson Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, West Davidson was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell 5-1 to the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rowdy Rebel Bulls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Hannah Rollins put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Rollins was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

West Davidson's record is now 1-1. As for South Stanly, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Davidson will square off against West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Stanly, they will take on Ardrey Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
