Basketball Recap: Alexander Comes Up Short

Alexander was the 75-32 winner over Wheatland-Chili when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Alexander Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 40-39 to the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats.

Alexander now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wheatland-Chili, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alexander will square off against Keshequa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheatland-Chili, they will welcome Pembroke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
