Basketball Recap: Gill St. Bernard's Triumphs

While Gill St. Bernard didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Hillsborough Raiders by a score of 55-46 on Tuesday. For the Knights , this counts as revenge for the 41-39 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hillsborough saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaron Feath posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Rollan, who earned seven points.

Gill St. Bernard's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hillsborough, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gill St. Bernard's will challenge Rutgers Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillsborough, they will take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
