Volleyball Recap: Dedham Comes Up Short

Dedham had lost four straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it five. They lost 3-0 to the Bellingham Blackhawks. If the Marauders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blackhawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Bellingham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-4 Norton and 3-6 Dedham.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Soto, who had seven digs and two aces.

Dedham has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Norton on the 19th. As for Bellingham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Hopkinton on the 19th.
