Preview: Erie Red Devils vs. Bluestem Lions
The Erie Red Devils will be playing at home against the Bluestem Lions on Friday. Hopefully Erie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Erie took a serious blow against the Chargers, falling 65-32. Erie has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Erie's loss came about despite a quality game from Alexandra Pasquarelli, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Bluestem had just enough and edged the Bullpups out 46-43 on Tuesday.
Erie has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Bluestem, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Erie, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-31 loss to the Lions in their previous meeting back in February of 2023.
