Basketball Recap: Dakota Ridge Eagles vs. Summit Tigers
Dakota Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 49-37 to the Summit Tigers.
Dakota Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emery Bowman, who posted 12 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Genevieve Pike, who put up 11 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenya Rodriguez, who scored 16 points and eight rebounds. Avery Eytel was another key player, putting up four points along with nine assists, eight boards, and five steals.
Dakota Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Summit, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
