Seminole won the last time they faced Hollins and things went their way on Friday too. Seminole had just enough and edged out Hollins 4-2.

Mack McGinnis made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shane Stalbird, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February.

Seminole lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Seminole is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Hollins is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Coming up, Seminole will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. As for Hollins, they are taking a road trip to face off against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
