Volleyball Recap: Panther Creek Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, Panther Creek was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Red Oak Hawks 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since August 15th.

Amani Hawkins paced Panther Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hawkins got some help from Haliee Irish and her 17 assists. Sanvi Panguluri controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

With the victory, Panther Creek broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Red Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Panther Creek has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ryan on the 28th. As for Red Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Greenville on the 28th.
