Basketball Game Preview: Bowie Volunteers vs. Haltom Buffalos

The Bowie Volunteers will challenge the Haltom Buffalos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, everything went Bowie's way against Arlington as Bowie made off with a 60-37 victory. Given the Volunteers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Colts are ranked 922nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Haltom suffered their closest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Martin by a score of 47-45. The Buffalos haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Bowie is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-17 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Haltom, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.
