Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

If Glendale was feeling good fresh off their 54-16 takedown of Parkview last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glendale Falcons were beaten by the Marshfield Bluejays 53-21 on Saturday. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Glendale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Marshfield, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Glendale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-42 loss against Willard on the 30th. Marshfield has also already played their next matchup, a 62-48 defeat against Fair Grove on the 30th.
