Auburn Mountainview put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They wrapped up 2024 with a 68-53 victory over the Silas Rams. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Auburn Mountainview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sudan Luok out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Arius, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

Auburn Mountainview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.

Auburn Mountainview's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Silas, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Auburn Mountainview will square off against Kentlake at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Silas, they will take on Annie Wright at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Annie Wright will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Silas surely won't give up without a fight.
