Softball Recap: Desert Chapel Comes Up Short at Home Against Redlands Adventist Academy

Desert Chapel unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 24-5 to the Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Desert Chapel saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Alvarado, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Redlands Adventist Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Desert Chapel is taking a road trip to challenge Loma Linda Academy at 4:30 p.m. on March 20th. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they will host Public Safety Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
