Bohemia Manor owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against the Rising Sun Tigers by a score of 4-0. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 8-1 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Not much got past Lyla Wescoat (2027), who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Rising Sun off the board. Wescoat (2027) has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gwen Ayers (2026) McDaniel, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Bohemia Manor's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Rising Sun, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Bohemia Manor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
