Volleyball Recap: Poly Has No Trouble Against JW North

Poly had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt JW North on Thursday. The Poly Bears blew past the JW North Huskies 3-0. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Poly never let JW North on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-19.

Poly's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for JW North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Poly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Woodcrest Christian on the 14th. As for JW North, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Vista del Lago on the 18th.
