Greene Central is a perfect 5-0 against Tarboro since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Greene Central's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last seven contests.

Greene Central barely beat Beddingfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 9-1 win on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Miguel Zavala as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Tarboro brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They never let Kinston get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Tarboro as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Tarboro used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Kinston. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to: Jonathan Alonso (60), Jonathan Hernandez (60), and Devontae Coltrain (70). The trio had averaged 32, 36.5, and 38.3 minutes respectively before Wednesday's contest. Alonso made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Greene Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Tarboro, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-8-2.

Greene Central took their victory against Tarboro when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
