Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Takes Down Ranked Chewelah + How To Watch

Northwest Christian School faced Chewelah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 77-55 victory. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Caleb Grant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 78% from the field to rack up 33 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Braylon Comfort, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points and four steals.

Northwest Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chewelah, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Northwest Christian School has already played their next contest, a 60-42 win against Newport on the 16th. As for Chewelah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-45 loss against Reardan on the 16th.
