Five-star defensive end LaBryan Ray commits to Alabama

Five-star defensive end Labryan Ray of James Clemens (Madison, Ala.) made his college commitment Wednesday, choosing to roll with Alabama.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound  is the top-rated strong-side defensive end and No. 26 overall prospect by 247Sports. Ray selected the Crimson Tide over Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Ray posted 124 tackles, 25 for loss, 13 sacks and 16 quarterback hurries in jolting the Jets to the Alabama Class 7A state quarterfinals this year.
