Desert Christian Academy had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Monday. They claimed a resounding 84-15 victory over the Hamilton Bobcats. Given the Conquerors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Bobcats are ranked 1386th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Desert Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Augustine Youssef led the charge by going 6 of 11 from beyond the arc to rack up 28 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Youssef has been hot, having posted 22 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaden Herling, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 22 points along with five assists and four steals.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Gustavo Villalobos, who posted eight points.

Desert Christian Academy pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points over those games. As for Hamilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

As for Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-36 defeat against Santa Rosa Academy on the 5th.
