Softball Recap: Plainfield North Gets the Win

After losing to St. Charles East the last time they met, Plainfield North decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers walked away with a 6-2 win over the Fighting Saints on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Plainfield North's record now sits at 3-8. As for St. Charles East, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Plainfield North and St. Charles East will both be playing Lemont the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Lemont HS at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Fighting Saints will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
