Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Victorious

Sunrise Mountain won the last time they faced Eastmark and things went their way on Friday too. Sunrise Mountain came out on top against Eastmark by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Sunrise Mountain easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19.

Brayden Case paced Sunrise Mountain's offense, picking up 11 kills. Case got some help from Dane Shepherd and his 21 assists.

Sunrise Mountain's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Eastmark, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Sunrise Mountain is taking a road trip to face off against Mica Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last six games Mica Mountain has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Eastmark, they will venture away from home to challenge ALA - Gilbert North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. ALA - Gilbert North will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Eastmark surely won't give up without a fight.
