After only one run in their last matchup, Portsmouth made sure to put some runs up on the board against Dawson-Bryant on Monday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Hornets. That looming 15-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Camron Williams made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Trevin Brooks was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Jacob Roth was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Portsmouth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dawson-Bryant only posted a batting average of .167.

The win got Portsmouth back to even at 3-3. As for Dawson-Bryant, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
