Baseball Game Preview: Pollok Central Bulldogs vs. Kirbyville Wildcats

For the second straight game, Pollok Central will face off against Kirbyville. The Bulldogs will challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pollok Central heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kirbyville. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

For Kirbyville's part, Braxton Jacks was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Cloud, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Kirbyville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Pollok Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19-1.
