Softball Recap: Rogue River Takes a Loss

Rogue River fell victim to North Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Chieftains have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rogue River has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for North Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Rogue River is taking a road trip to square off against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Phoenix at 12:00 p.m. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
