Basketball Recap: Magruder Victorious

If Quince Orchard wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Magruder, they should've done a better job of containing Zeke Dabbondanza. The Magruder Colonels snuck past the Quince Orchard Cougars with a 58-52 win on Saturday thanks in part to Dabbondanza, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Magruder's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Quince Orchard, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Magruder will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaithersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Quince Orchard, they will square off against Seneca Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
