Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Skates Past Emerald with Ease

Deer Valley extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 5-3. They took their game with ease, bagging an 87-54 victory over the Emerald Aerouants. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolverines had established a 21-point advantage.

Deer Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcellis Thomas led the charge by dropping a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Thomas is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Raja Dunbar was another key player, going 7-for-15 on his way to 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
