Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Cheney Cardinals
Eisenhower lost against Cheney back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eisenhower Tigers fell just short of the Cheney Cardinals by a score of 2-1.
Eisenhower came into the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. After all that action, the final score was 21-25, 27-25, 25-20.
Eisenhower lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kamry Johnston, who had 32 digs. Johnston has been hot recently, having posted six or more digs the last five times she's played. Natalee Lempke was another key player, getting eight digs and three aces.
Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Eisenhower will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andover Central at 6:00 p.m. on October 1st.
