Holt had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-19 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Winfield Warriors by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Warriors on Monday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

As for Winfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly three runs.

For Winfield's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Morse, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another was Warren Conrad, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holt will welcome Liberty at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winfield, they will take on Wright City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
