After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Argenta-Oreana, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Rantoul Eagles 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

SOPHIA MONTS made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. MONTS was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
