Tabernacle waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Clay County Christian Academy Eagles 44-24. The Torches pushed the score to 37-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Clay County Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emmie Bowen posted seven points and 11 rebounds. Addie Clack also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Tabernacle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Clay County Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Tabernacle has already played their next game, a 40-37 win against Cornerstone Christian on the 31st. Clay County Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
